Job Description Seco Restore Inc., a growing leader in restoration services, is seeking a Water Technician to join our team. A Water Technician is responsible for responding to water-related emergencies and providing restoration services to properties affected by water damage. This includes drying and dehumidifying wet areas, repairing flood damage, and removing mold. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service during what can be a stressful time for clients. Key Responsibilities •\tInspect damaged property to assess the extent of water damage\t •\tRemove excess water from affected surfaces using pumps, extractors, and other equipment •\tSet up fans and dehumidifiers to dry out the area •\tMonitor drying process and adjust equipment settings as needed •\tPerform mold remediation and removal •\tClean and sanitize affected areas •\tProvide guidance and advice to property owners on how to prevent water damage in the future Preferred Qualifications •\tAt least 1 year of experience •\tStrong communication skills •\tKnowledge of water damage remediation techniques •\tAbility to operate specialized water removal equipment •\tAbility to complete detailed documentation of water damage activities •\tEnglish/Spanish bilingual is required •\tValid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required
