Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. An opportunity is available for a full-time Special
Education Teacher specializing in Mathematics for grades 5th
through 8th at an elementary school setting in Liberty, MO. This
contract position spans the current school year (CSY) and offers
the chance to make a significant impact in students' academic and
personal growth through tailored instruction. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized educational instruction focusing on mathematics
to students requiring special education support Develop and
implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with
student needs and curriculum standards Collaborate with general
education teachers, support staff, and families to create an
inclusive learning environment Monitor student progress and adapt
teaching strategies accordingly Participate in meetings and
maintain thorough documentation on student performance and behavior
Qualifications and Experience: Certification in Special Education
teaching required Proven experience teaching mathematics within
special education, preferably with students in 5th to 8th grade
Strong understanding of instructional strategies that support
diverse learning needs Ability to build rapport with students and
work collaboratively with educational teams Excellent communication
and organizational skills Location: Liberty, Missouri This contract
