Job Description Job Description Industry: Oil & Gas Fabrication (ASME Code Shop) Location: On-site only Pay & Schedule Pay: $35-37 per hour Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM , Monday–Friday Status: Full-time, permanent Overtime: As needed Remote: Not available (100% on-site) Role Overview Estimator / Inside Sales role supporting an ASME pressure vessel and production equipment fabrication shop . This position handles estimating from RFQ through order entry while serving as a key customer contact. Core Responsibilities Prepare detailed estimates for ASME Section VIII Div. 1 pressure vessels , skid packages, separators, heater treaters, and pipe spools Review RFQs, drawings, P&IDs, and fabrication packages Break down labor, materials, welding hours, NDE, coatings, and subcontracted services Obtain and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing Prepare and follow up on formal quotations Act as primary customer contact for quotes, pricing, and job updates Enter orders into ERP/CRM and coordinate with production and purchasing Work closely with the shop floor and management Must-Have Qualifications 2 years estimating, inside sales, or project coordination in oil & gas fabrication or industrial manufacturing Strong knowledge of ASME pressure vessel fabrication Ability to read drawings, P&IDs, welding symbols Strong Excel and general Microsoft Office skills High attention to detail and strong customer communication skills Nice-to-Haves Direct experience estimating ASME-coded vessels or production equipment Knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW) Familiarity with NDE (RT, UT, MT, PT, PMI, hydrotesting) CAD drawing exposure Recruiter Notes No benefits offered (no health, no 401k) Small shop environment — Company Description People Source is staffing agency focused on Skilled Trades.
