Collaborates with interdisciplinary team in the delivery of patient
care, utilizing the nursing process; provides professional nursing
care to patients, including conducting nursing assessments,
assisting with exams and treatment, patient education, and
maintenance of medical records. MHHS hires RNs based on years of
experience groupings (i.e. newly licensed RN [working under the
supervision of RN clinical preceptor], less than 1 year, 1-3 years,
3 to 10 and 10+).

- Cath Lab, Cardiothoracic IMU/ICU, Clinical Decision

Operating Room (OR), Surgical/Ortho/Neuro/Tele, and Women's
$10K for RN II: 1-3 years of RN experience
$15K for RN III: 3-10 years of RN experience & RN IV: 10+ years of

Pearland Med Surg
54 total beds Med/surg unit
Caring, Fun, and supportive environment with a strong focus on
compassionate and quality patient care.
Non specialized units with a wide variety of patients to care for:
Cardiac (CHF, MI, Heart Cath patients), Neuro (stroke, seizures),
Diabetes, Surgical (orthopedic, general) and more.
24 hour hospitalist coverage
Pearland Intensive Care Unit (ICU/IMU)
Small non-specialized ICU allowing opportunity to work with a wide
variety of patients including Neuro (tPA), Cardiac (IAPB),
Medicine, and Surgery.
Unit is an ICU/IMU mix.
Family like and highly collaborative environment
24 hour Intensivist coverage.

Southeast Med Surg Tele
Our 3 med surg tele units are each 38 beds. While these units are
all very similar, 3B is dedicated to more of our general
surgical/higher acuity patients while 1A and 1B are more general
med tele. They all have COVID designated beds. Please note are
units could become FULL COVID units should cases increase. We use
team approach on these units with different levels of staff support
including PCAs, LVNs, Charge Nurses, Clinical Coordinators, etc.
Ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and strong
sense of teamwork. Required experience is at least 1 year of acute
care/ SNF or rehab experience. BSN preferred, will consider ADN
nurses if willing to obtain a BSN within a 3 year timeframe.
Southeast Med Surg/Ortho/Neuro Tele
Our 2A unit is 37 bed unit with 23 ortho/neuro beds and 14 rehab
beds. This unit caters to variety of patients including stroke,
knee surgeries, hips, etc. They all have COVID designated beds. We
use team approach on these units with different levels of staff
support including PCAs, LVNs, Charge Nurses, Clinical Coordinators,
etc. Ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and
strong sense of teamwork. Required experience is at least 1 year of
acute care/ SNF or rehab experience. BSN preferred, will consider
ADN nurses if willing to obtain a BSN within a 3 year
Southeast Med Surg Oncology
Our 2B unit is 34 bed unit with 13 oncology beds and 21 med surg
beds. This unit caters to medical surgical, oncology and geriatric
population. This unit will have NO COVID beds due to the nature of
the population. We use team approach on these units with different
levels of staff support including PCAs, LVNs, Charge Nurses,
Clinical Coordinators, etc. Ideal candidate will have strong
communication skills and strong sense of teamwork. Required
experience is at least 1 year of acute care/ SNF or rehab
experience. BSN preferred, will consider ADN nurses if willing to
obtain a BSN within a 3 year timeframe.
Southeast Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
A 24-bed unit, Southeast's Intensive Care Unit receives very high
acuity patients. The nurse on this unit administers full cardiac
drips as well as works with Impella, CRRT, ECMO, IABP and Artic Sun
devices. The nurse to patient ratio ranges from 1:1 to 1:2, with a
vast amount of support resources. The ICU offers opportunities for
growth through the Rapid Response team, Charge Nursing and
Preceptorship. This team prides itself on family oriented and

Southeast Cardiothoracic IMU
A 22-bed unit, Southeast's Cardiothoracic IMU receives thoracic,
cardiac and tele monitoring patients. The nurse on this unit
administers full cardiac drips as well as works with Stable CABG
and Post Surgery Patients. The nurse to patient ratio ranges from
1:3 to 1:4, with a vast amount of support resources. The Daisy

Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional
Nursing; Bachelors of Nursing preferred
- Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to
practice professional nursing
- Certified in Basic Life Support
- Additional certifications may be required based on discipline
and/or nursing unit requirements
Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
- RN I
- RN II = 1-3 years
- RN III = 3-10 years
- RN IV = 10+ years
