Obstetrics and Gynecology of Southeast Houston Seeking an
experienced OB/GYN Physician to join our team
ResponsibilitiesObstetrics and Gynecology of Southeast Houston, a
part of Pediatrix Medical Group, is seeking an experienced and
dedicated OB/GYN Physician to join our team. As an OB/GYN
Physician, you will provide comprehensive obstetrical and
gynecological services to our patients in a compassionate and
patient-centered environment. Collaborating with our experienced
team, you will play a vital role in creating personalized care
plans and delivering exceptional healthcare services to achieve the
healthiest possible outcomes for our patients. Key
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care to
patients, including routine and high-risk obstetric care, virtual
visits, infertility counseling, adult and adolescent gynecologic
care, surgical care, and menopause management.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history
reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests, to ensure
accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans,
incorporating patient preferences and considering the unique needs
and circumstances of each patient.
- Perform various obstetrical and gynecological procedures, such
as deliveries, cesarean sections, hysterectomies, laparoscopic
surgeries, and colposcopies, as appropriate and in accordance with
best practices.
- Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options,
preventive measures, and post-operative care instructions,
fostering informed decision-making and active patient participation
in their healthcare journey.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate effectively with other physicians, advanced
practitioners, nurses, and healthcare professionals within the
practice to deliver coordinated and multidisciplinary care.
- Communicate with patients and their families in a compassionate
and clear manner, ensuring they understand their conditions,
treatment plans, and expected outcomes.
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare providers or
specialists as needed, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and other
forums to discuss patient care, share knowledge, and contribute to
the continuous improvement of clinical practices. About the Area
