Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Critical Thinking and Prioritization skills Organizational skills Description: This position involves providing nursing care in a telemetry unit. The unit has 31 beds and employs a staff of 30. Patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:6. Night shift typically includes 6 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-2 sitters. Equipment used includes computers on wheels with EMR - Meditech. Common procedures performed on the unit include paracentesis and chest tube insertion. The ideal candidate is friendly and outgoing.
