Apply now to make a difference in patient care and explore Texas healthcare jobs!/n /n/nHealthcare Job Details/n /n - Location: Pasadena, Texas (77504) – Greater Houston area/n - Setting: Main Hospital, 1st Floor, 10-bed Operating Room Unit/n - Contract Type: Travel healthcare contract/n - Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 01/19/2026 – End: 04/20/2026)/n - Shift: 12 Hour Days (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)/n - Hours per Week: 36/n - Estimated Weekly Pay: $1320 - $1420/n - On-Call: Required for nights, weekends, and holidays (30-minute response time)/n - Scrub Color: Hunter Green/n /n/nOperating Room Technician Qualifications/n /n - Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an Operating Room Technician (OR Tech) or First Assist/n - Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Operating Room Technician (ORT) certification/n - Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) certification/n - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification/n - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification/n - Experience with Meditech EMR/n - Proficient in circulating general surgery, robotics, neurosurgery, orthopedics, ENT, urology, gynecology, and vascular procedures for adult and pediatric patients/n - Labor and delivery experience (vaginal deliveries, c-sections)/n - Strong communication skills and openness to feedback/n /n/nOR Tech Responsibilities/n /n - Assist surgeons during operative procedures, including general, robotic, neurosurgical, orthopedic, ENT, urology, gynecological, and vascular cases/n - Support labor and delivery cases as needed/n - Prepare and maintain a sterile environment in the operating room/n - Operate and troubleshoot advanced surgical equipment (Da Vinci Xi, Velys Robot)/n - Document procedures and patient information accurately using Meditech EMR/n - Float to main OR for general surgery, OB/GYN, urology, and robotics when vascular/heart cases are not booked/n - Participate in on-call rotation for nights, weekends, and holidays/n - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes/n /n Join our healthcare team in Pasadena, Texas – Apply now for this Operating Room Technician travel job and take the next step in your surgical career!
