Memorial Hermann, a leader in Texas healthcare known for high-quality care and clinical excellence, is seeking a Sr Cardiac Sonographer for our Advanced Heart Failure (AHF) Clinic at Texas Medical Center. This key role involves using sonographic imaging to assess and diagnose heart conditions, contributing to the comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient. The Sr Cardiac Sonographer will work directly with our specialized heart failure cardiologists, providing critical data that influences patient outcomes and advances the practice of heart care. Perform detailed echocardiograms to assess heart conditions. Analyze patient histories and diagnostic tests to assist in patient care and treatment plans. Collaborate with healthcare teams to discuss clinical procedures and results. Maintain sonographic equipment, ensure that all equipment operates at optimal levels, and adhere to safety standards. Educate patients and their families on test procedures while managing patient care and comfort during sonographic examinations. Document procedural interpretations for medical records in accordance with established compliance and regulatory standards. Advanced proficiency in echocardiography techniques and interpretation Strong analytical and diagnostic skills High level of compassion and interpersonal communication Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment Proficiency with healthcare IT systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by ARDMS or equivalent Specialty certification in Adult Echocardiography preferred Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Active state licensure as required
