Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in patient rehabilitation
and home-based care, seeks a dedicated Speech Pathologist to join
our expert team. This role involves assessing and treating patients
with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in both our
inpatient rehabilitation facilities and in patient homes. The ideal
candidate will craft personalized therapy plans, work
collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, and help patients
improve their communication abilities and quality of life. Evaluate
patient speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Develop and
implement tailored treatment plans. Record, maintain, and update
patient progress and treatment documentation. Educate patients and
families about communication strategies and coping mechanisms.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to monitor patient progress
and modify treatments as necessary. Provide training and education
on speech disorder management to healthcare team members. Expertise
in various speech therapy techniques and assessments Strong
interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work
independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Proficiency
with patient management software Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance 401k Valid state license in Speech-Language
Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language
Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing
Association (ASHA)
