This role is pivotal in managing complex patient care in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. Evaluate and manage patient care in collaboration with the CVICU team. Develop and implement effective patient care plans and interventions. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, ensuring the highest quality of care. Educate patients and their families on conditions and treatment plans. Respond to emergency situations with swift precision and clinical expertise. Maintain detailed patient records and continuously update clinical knowledge. Strong clinical skills with ability to manage complex patient situations in a high-stress environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient in using healthcare software and patient management systems. Adept in emergency response and capable of making quick decisions under pressure. Medical Insurance Life Insurance Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) license in Texas. Certification in Acute Care (ACNPC-AG, ACNPC, or similar), preferred but not required. BLS and ACLS certifications.
