Speech Language Pathologist Location: League City, TX Agency: AMN Healthcare Allied Pay: $2,429 to $2,503 per week Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Description & Requirements School Psychologist (PSY) - School - (PSY - School) StartDate: 2/23/2026 Available Shifts: 7.5 D Pay Rate: $2429.00 - $2503.00 AMN Healthcare is partnering with a top school district in a southern suburb of Houston to hire a School Psychologist to work in the area, providing services to students for the remainder of the school year. This School Psychologist will provide counseling services to students on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and to the regular student population (treating mood disorders, autism, anxiety, depression, ADHD, social skill deficits, conduct disorders) to foster positive coping strategies, motivation, and skill development. Responsibilities will include conducting psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students’ needs and strengths, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans, provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional and behavioral issue. They will collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments, provide crisis intervention and support for students and staff as needed. They will also coordinate outreach activities that support students and families including pediatricians, outside counseling agencies, and agencies such as DCF, DMH, etc. The Houston area where the district is located, provides a vibrant community atmosphere and has reasonable apartment rental rates as the cost of living in Houston is well below the average for most large cities. Proficiency in assessment tools and techniques used in school and educational settings. Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations. Strong Knowledge of Child Development, Learning Theories, and Behavioral Interventions.
