The Treatment Nurse - LVN/RN at Park Manor of Tomball plays a
critical role in delivering high-quality nursing care to residents
within a skilled nursing environment. This position focuses on
administering treatments, monitoring patient conditions, and
collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive
care plans are effectively implemented. The nurse will be
responsible for maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring
compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies. By
providing compassionate and skilled nursing interventions, the
LVN/RN contributes to improving patient outcomes and enhancing the
overall quality of life for residents. This role requires a
dedicated professional who can balance clinical expertise with
empathetic patient interaction in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Minimum Qualifications: Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or
(RN) license in TX. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Minimum of one year of nursing experience in a skilled nursing or
long-term care setting. Strong knowledge of nursing principles,
treatment procedures, and medication administration. Ability to
communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare
team members. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a
skilled nursing facility or long-term care environment. Additional
certifications related to wound care, IV therapy, or geriatric
nursing. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within
interdisciplinary teams. Continuing education or specialized
training in patient care management. Responsibilities: Administer
prescribed treatments and medications according to established
protocols and physician orders. Monitor and assess patients’ health
status, reporting any changes or concerns promptly to the
supervising nurse or physician. Maintain accurate and detailed
patient records, including treatment logs, medication
administration, and progress notes. Collaborate with healthcare
team members to develop, implement, and update individualized care
plans. Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures,
medication management, and health maintenance. Ensure compliance
with all regulatory requirements, facility policies, and safety
standards. Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge
processes, ensuring continuity of care. Participate in quality
improvement initiatives and staff training as required. On call
duties as assigned. Skills: The required skills enable the LVN/RN
to perform clinical tasks such as administering treatments and
medications safely and accurately, ensuring patient well-being.
Effective communication skills are essential for educating patients
and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.
Attention to detail is critical for maintaining precise
documentation and adhering to regulatory standards. Preferred
skills, such as proficiency with electronic health records and
specialized certifications, enhance the nurse’s ability to deliver
advanced care and improve operational efficiency. Together, these
