This vital position offers skilled sonographers the opportunity to specialize in pediatric cardiac care, working with a dedicated team to provide exceptional imaging services crucial for the diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart conditions in infants and children. This role requires precision, compassion, and a commitment to leveraging the latest in diagnostic technology in a supportive and collaborative environment. Perform echocardiographic examinations on pediatric patients, focusing on congenital heart disease. Prepare, assess, and interpret diagnostic cardiographic data for clinical decision-making. Maintain and operate all sonographic equipment safely and effectively. Work collaboratively with pediatric cardiologists to discuss findings and assist with procedural planning. Ensure compliance with departmental policies and protocols, maintaining patient safety and confidentiality at all times. Educate parents and guardians about the sonographic process and address any concerns. Expertise in pediatric echocardiography techniques and protocols. Proficiency with sonographic equipment and technology. Strong analytical and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle a high-stress environment and sensitive situations professionally.
