Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will provide both facility-based and home-based speech therapy services as part of our integrative approach to care. Our network, spanning inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and home health agencies, ensures a continuum of care for our patients recovering from a range of disorders. As a Speech Pathologist at Encompass Health, you'll work in a stimulating environment with a focus on patient-centered therapy, offering specialized treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Assess and treat individuals with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Develop and implement individually tailored treatment plans based on each patient's needs and medical conditions. Educate patients and families about communication techniques and strategies. Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient conditions and progress. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a consistent approach to patient care. Provide mentoring to new therapists and participate in community outreach programs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to assess and treat speech and language disorders Expertise in creating and following treatment plans Capable of handling sensitive information confidentially Proficient in the use of technology for documentation and therapy Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
