Cashier Job Description: We are looking for team members that enjoy and thrive in a fast paced, high energy environment. As a Cashier, you will provide a blend of hospitality and operations. Aside from taking orders and processing payments, a Cashier will often be responsible for making sure the front of the house is neat and orderly, restocking items, and answering the phone. The most important aspect of your work as Cashier is to provide accurate point of sale transaction and friendly service to ensure Guests will return. Must Be at least 18 years of age Must submit to a background check prior to starting any cash handling position and pass Lubys Cashier Certification criteria Must have good organizational skills Previous experience working with a Point of Sale (POS) system is a plus.
