Job Description:

Field Service ManagerWe re looking for a Field Service Manager to deliver the highest quality technical training and development to our current Technicians while also creating an elite customer experience in residential HVAC repair and installation. As a Field Service Manager, you will work as part of a dynamic and passionate team. You will diagnose and repair heating and cooling systems and lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions. We are committed to treating customers with the highest integrity. We will never compromise our integrity to generate revenue. In fact, WE DON T WANT YOU EVER TO USE HIGH-PRESSURE SALES TACTICS. Instead, we will teach you a philosophy of creating alternative solutions that a customer will choose from. Our experience thus far has been overwhelming and TECHNICIAN COMPENSATION OVER THE LAST YEAR IS THE HIGHEST IT HAS EVER BEEN. Most importantly, we have been getting great reviews from our customers!Responsibilities:Ride with and develop service technicians on technical and professional processes. Help our technicians with the following:Know how to establish customer rapport to offer the right solutions to our customers by asking the right lifestyle questions before troubleshooting heating and cooling systems. Educate and assist customers in choosing the best options and maintenance plans. Explain replacement opportunities for aging, inefficient or underperforming systems. Understand our sales philosophy and hold yourself accountable for using the Nexstar way to its highest potential. Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business. Maintain a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck. Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings, trade shows, and retreats. Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations. Be accurate and timely with invoices, time cards, curbside feedback and option sheets.Requirements:

  • Nate Certified
  • EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification
  • Registered as an HVAC Service Technician with the State of Texas
  • Clean, safe driving record
  • Strong verbal and written communication
