Lead Java Developer (on site) Cognizant is looking to hire a motivated and energetic Lead Java Developer with 9+ years of experience to join our team. **Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States** Job Location: Texas City, Texas Day-to-Day Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance Java applications using advanced Java technologies and frameworks. * Develop and manage microservices using Spring Boot 3.5. * Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker in a cloud-native environment. * Implement event-driven architecture and work with Kafka and MQ for real-time messaging and event management. * Will leverage their expertise in GitBucket Spring Boot Microservices Java and REST Web Services to design and implement robust solutions. The role involves working in a hybrid model during day shifts focusing on the Payer domain to drive impactful projects Key Qualifications: * 9 + years of hands-on experience in Java core, Springboot development, with a strong understanding of advanced Java concepts. * Proficiency Required 3+ years of Java JavaScript JSP JSF J2EE Grammar EJB MDB VXML XML REST/SOAP Integration * Required 3+ years of working experience in Voice XML * Required a minimum of 1 year experience in Agile methodology with preferred experience in SAFe methodology * Required strong communication and collaborative skills * Required experience working in onshore/offshore support model collaborating work with offshore teams. * Preferred Viecore Framework * Preferred ETL JCL COBOL * Preferred experience working with DevSecOps GitHub RTC automation tools. * Preferred experience in Call Center Technologies like AVAYA CISCO Chatbot etc. * Preferred knowledge and/or experience working in SalesForce.
