Application Product Manager is responsible for the product
management of Nabors Drilling Solutions' Performance Tools
cloud-based applications. This role leads the definition,
evolution, and execution of scalable, data-driven web products that
support real time and post job automated drilling performance,
operational workflows, and decision making across the organization
and customer base. The Product Manager owns the definition of the
"whole product," including user experience, data architecture
considerations, service delivery workflows, and operational support
processes. This role serves as the primary interface between
engineering, design, data, commercial teams, leadership, and end
usersâ??translating deep operational understanding and product
vision into clear requirements, measurable outcomes, and delivered
value. A strong understanding of modern web development, cloud
platforms, and analytics-driven decision making within operational
drilling environments is essential. Product Vision & Strategy:Â Own
and clearly communicate the product vision for cloud applications
that support real time and post job drilling operations,
translating business objectives and operational user needs into a
cohesive, long term product strategy. Product Roadmap Development:
Develop, maintain, and prioritize the product roadmap, ensuring
alignment with business strategy, customer value, and technical
feasibility. Web & Cloud Product Leadership:Â Lead the development
of modern, scalable web applications, partnering closely with
engineering on architecture, performance, security, scalability,
and reliability in operational drilling environments. Drilling
Operations Context & Validation:Â Ensure cloud applications are
designed with a deep understanding of drilling workflows,
operational constraints, and field realities. Validate product
decisions through close engagement with rig operations, engineers,
and end users to ensure solutions are practical, reliable, and
drive measurable performance improvement. Cross-Functional Team
Leadership:Â Work with a cross-functional product team, including
software developers, product designers, data scientists, and
operations, to deliver high quality cloud solutions. Requirements &
Execution: Translate product vision into clear product
requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Own backlog
prioritization and execution to ensure efficient delivery of value.
Stakeholder & Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary product
interface with internal stakeholders and customers to gather
feedback, validate assumptions, and ensure solutions deliver real
world value. Market & Competitive Strategy: Maintain a strong
understanding of the drilling technology landscape, including
trends in drilling data analytics, automation, and decision support
tools used by operators and contractors. Identify and assess
competitive and alternative offerings to inform product strategy,
differentiation, and positioning. New Feature & Product Launches:
Plan and execute feature releases and product launches,
coordinating with engineering, commercial, marketing, and
operations teams to drive successful adoption. Marketing
Collaboration: Participate in the creation of marketing
communication materials to effectively promote the product and its
features. Industry Representation: Represent the company at trade
fairs and networking events to enhance visibility and foster
industry connections. LI-TL1 7 years of experience in product
management, software development, or digital product roles 3 years
of hands-on product management experience owning web or cloud-based
applications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science,
Business, or a related discipline Strong understanding of modern
web technologies, cloud platforms, and software development
lifecycles Demonstrated ability to define product vision and
translate it into executable roadmaps Proven experience leading
cross-functional teams to deliver complex digital products Strong
data literacy, including defining metrics, analyzing usage data,
and driving decisions from insights Experience using Azure DevOps
(ADO) or similar tools for backlog management and product execution
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONSÂ MBA or Master's degree in a technology, analytics,
or business-related discipline Experience with cloud native
platforms, data analytics, or enterprise SaaS products Background
in industrial, energy, or operational technology environments
Experience working closely with UX/UI designers and data
visualization tools Previous experience in customer-facing or
