Litigation Attorney (Insurance Defense) Salary: $130k-$160k/yr
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid) Position Overview We are seeking a
highly skilled Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The
ideal candidate will have extensive experience in insurance defense
and litigation, with a strong focus on mediation and drafting legal
documents. The Litigation Attorney will represent clients in
various legal proceedings, ensuring the best possible outcomes for
their cases. Key Responsibilities - Represent clients in court and
during depositions - Draft legal documents including pleadings and
motions - Negotiate settlements and engage in mediation processes -
Conduct legal research to support case preparation - Manage cases
from inception to resolution - Communicate effectively with
clients, witnesses, and court personnel - Analyze and interpret
laws, regulations, and legal documents - Provide strategic legal
advice to clients regarding their cases Qualifications -
Jurisdictional license to practice law - JD from an accredited law
school - Minimum 3 years of experience in litigation, preferably in
insurance defense - Strong knowledge of general liability laws -
Proven experience in mediation and negotiation - Excellent drafting
and communication skills - Ability to work independently and as
part of a team - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
