Job Description Job Description Manufacturing Shop Helper(Finned Tubes and Pipes) Automation Personnel Services is looking for Manufacturing Shop Helper(Finned Tubes and Pipes) for a company based in Tomball, TX. We are seeking a hands?on, experienced Shop Helper to support daily operations in our warehouse and fabrication shop. This role is ideal for someone with strong trade skills, leadership ability, and a stable work history. The Shop Helper will work closely under management and play a key role in guiding the shop team, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity. Pay Rate $16.00/hour (could be more) Schedule and Hours Monday – Friday 06:00am until finish (usually 4:00pm) Manufacturing Shop Helper (Finned Tubes and Pipes) Duties and Responsibilities Assist personnel with confidence, clarity, and a people?first approach Work primarily on the shop floor with some desk/administrative duties Assist with hands?on fabrication, troubleshooting, and daily workflow Ensure production goals are met and maintain a smooth operation Support manufacturing of finned and tubing pipes used for heat transfer in asphalt tankers Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Communicate effectively with team members and management Manufacturing Shop Helper (Finned Tubes and Pipes) Qualifications and Requirements Strong background in manufacturing finned and tubing pipes and/or steel fabrication Ability to read a tape measure accurately and troubleshoot mechanical issues Hands?on tradesman experience; blue?collar, practical mindset Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer skills Experience operating a forklift Welding experience (TIG/MIG) Familiarity with band saws, pneumatic tools, and packaging processes Stable work history and mature, common?sense approach to daily tasks Background check and drug screening Job Type Full-time, Temp to Permanent Benefits Weekly Pay 401(k) retirement plan Medical, dental, vision, short-term disability and life insurance 5 paid Vacation Days after 1 year of continuous service (paid as a service bonus) 6 paid Holidays after 1500 continuous hours of service within a calendar year Interested in this job?
