We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an
The Director of Strategic Account Engagement is responsible for
the strategic development of employer relationships for the purpose
of securing new corporate accounts, virtual health, targeted onsite
service development for specific clients, executive health,
wellness and Sales.
The Director will focus on lead generation, employer engagement
and collaboration with the Sales and Operations teams to secure new
business in the large group to jumbo market segment, and management
of all activities related to relationship development, including
engagement of physicians to assist in the development process,
educational tours, preparation of specific materials designed to
advance prospect knowledge and development of specialized
initiatives for selected customers, and RFP and proposal
development leading to successful new sales.
The Director will act as the customer advocate, identifying
methods and programs to optimize our client’s experience, while
ensuring sound business economics in each program.
The Director will possess a strong knowledge of, and experience
in, relationship marketing, sales, and business development, as
well as an in-depth understanding of clinic operations and
capabilities to deliver programs and services.
8 years’ experience in new account sales and/or corporate
medical operations in a healthcare setting. 8 years of proven
success in leading, Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a leadership
role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Prior experience in health insurance sales on a
business-to-business basis. Prior experience selling an ACO, HMO,
or limited network health plan model.
Listening, negotiating and presentation abilities
Proven ability to engage, collaborate and build strong
relationships with customers, especially at the executive level.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Advanced
knowledge of MS Office products. Results focused with proven
