THE ROLE: This mechanical sales engineering career opportunity is
perfect for an experienced customer-facing construction engineer
based in the Houston, TX area. In this role, you’ll play a key role
supporting senior sales professionals as they specify mechanical
products into large construction projects. This includes delivering
technical presentations to Mechanical Engineers, construction
firms, and Owner/End-user personas. There will be collaboration
with the engineering team to refine project specifications and
drawings before the project is transitioned to the execution team.
The position blends remote and on-site work with ~25% travel to
visit customers, events and trainings. The ideal person for this
role will have familiarity with the FEED project stage and will
have experience analyzing pipe stress and piping isometrics. ? THE
QUALIFICATIONS: 5-7 years of engineering experience in industrial
construction Energy vertical construction project experience
strongly preferred (EX: power, chemical, oil & gas, etc.)
Familiarity with the FEED stage of a project Experience analyzing
pipe stress and piping isometrics Comfortable being client-facing,
assisting with material specifications Experience working for an
industrial manufacturer, MEP engineering firm, General Contractor,
or other construction related firms Must live in the Houston, TX
area willing to travel ~25% overnight to visit customers,
trainings, and events Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required THE
